STOWA TO-1 TESTAF. RELOJ FLIEGER SEGUN LOS ESTANDARES TECNICOS PARA RELOJES DE PILOTO.

TESTAF es el acrónimo del termino alemán "Technischer Standard Fliegeruhren" y viene a ser un proyecto desarrollado conjuntamente por la Universidad de Ciencias Aplicadas de Aachen y la firma germana de relojes Sinn, que establece los parámetros a cumplir para los relojes de visualización analógica aplicados al mundo de la aeronáutica.

La denominación "flieger" venía a subrayar, hasta la fecha, poco más que un aspecto estético, pero con el programa TESTAF se pretendió regularizar el término y establecer una normativa de certificación un poco al modo de la que ya existe desde hace años para los relojes de buceo.

"In the event of simultaneous failure of the aircraft‘s timing instruments, or even a suspected failure, it is the purpose of the pilot‘s watch, as the primary time measurement instrument, to enable the pilot to plan and execute any necessary time-related flight manoeuvres, thereby providing a comprehensive substitute for the timing instruments installed or mandated in the aircraft.
The functioning of a pilot‘s watch shall not be affected by the physical stress of regular flying or by unexpected malfunctions of the aircraft. In all conditions its operation shall be simple and reliable and it shall be easily readable. It shall not present a potential risk for crew members, other instruments or the aircraft itself."




Bien, como podéis suponer, la firma principalmente interesada en adaptar esta normativa a sus relojes es la patrocinadora (Sinn), pero es de preveer que pronto se irán uniendo otras. Stowa no ha querido esperar.

 
  

Creo que ya simplemente esta imágen aclara muchos conceptos ¿verdad?. Imposible negar la estetica "pilot" o flieger...pero ajustado milimétricamente a una exigente normativa.

¿Enamorados del reloj?. Si la respuesta es afirmativa...tendréis que desembolsar 1.290 euros (treinta euros menos si optáis por la correa de caucho). A mi modo de ver un precio correcto por una pieza no sólo preciosa, sino además certificada para desempeñar las funciones acordes con su estética (cualquier Sinn de similares características es sensiblemente más caro).
